Parents Weekend
A few weeks back the parents came out for a visit. I took a couple days off work and we trecked around Germany a bit.
We went on the Rhine River Cruise, which involves sitting on a boat for a few hours eating food and looking at the dozens of castles along the river. It's a pretty sweet deal. (Many more pics on facebook)
YSA Happenings
Last week for FHE we went to a nearby castle and roasted hotdogs and mallows. Germany's cool like that.
Fuseball!
I love the world cup. It's awesome. Last game a couple of the guys came over for the day and we watched the USA and Germany games. Good times. (Jared doesn't normally have a black forehead...he colored his face for the game. He's also wearing a German flag.)
That's great your parents visited for a few days. I would love to go to Germany! It looks so beautiful! So much history to see.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to see a real castle! That is so neat that for FHE you can just go to a nearby castle and visit. Wow, it looks beautiful there! Sounds like you're having fun!
